We had the most exclusive, unbelievable experience on our one day and one night at Jackalberry Tented Camp - we were fortunate to be the only guests at the lodge and had the afternoon sat on the deck watching the world of wildlife pass by- the staff were incredibly attentive yet not overly so and left us to enjoy the lodge in privacy- the food was 'up a level' from any of the food we had tasted on the three week trip through Namibia with lamb shanks prepared in a tint bush kitchen- phenomenal. Our guide Justin was knowledgeable and experienced and a very good host too. The experience of being right in the bush with no fences allowed us to experience nature close up and the lions roaring meters outside camp was a bonus- this is truly one of those few places left in Africa where you get close up and wild with nature- definitely return for a few nights soon. overnight was not long enough!
