The Residence

We stayed at 'The Residence by Sandoway' for 4 nights and had the best time relaxing at the beach and enjoying the comfort, exclusivity and privacy of this small hotel compared to big beach resorts.  We booked a spacious double standard room with breathtaking seaview. As frequent travellers we have never been in a better beach hotel before. Hotel staff were friendly, very welcoming and supportive. Room service incl. turn down service was excellent. Breakfast is provided at the sister hotel 'The arts of sands' which is only a 5 mins walk away at the beach. Breakfast & lunch was great, offering a variety of delicious local and international dishes with a great view of the ocean. We really enjoyed our sundowners & Cappuccino here. For a Spa treatment we can recommend the Traditional Massage at Nibbana Spa by Amata, which is on the opposite side of the street. The massage is more expensive than those offered at the beach but definitely worth the money. For dinner you can find a few restaurants on the main street offering delicious seafood for a reasonable price. The quality of food is good everywhere.  What we really appreciated is that Ngapali beach is still untouched and feels like a raw diamond. If you plan to visit, we can definitely recommend 'The Residence by Sandoway' as the place to stay and would so far rate it as the best beach hotel we have ever been to.
