Very large lovely gardens, lovely pool, large restaurant, huge reception area.  Set under a huge rocky hill and paths with lovely lights leading to rooms and facilities.  A really lovely restful hotel to stay at.

SWIMMING POOL

Very good hotel with super affordable price. They have two type of rooms - Bungalow and apartment type. Located at the entrance of Hpa Ann City - silent, clean and at the base of Hill.

Staff - friendly can speak english well
Food - Delicious

Very cool spot for Family

This hotel has 2 hotels. We stayed in the Zwekabin Valley Resort.
We stayed in this resort from 2 – 4 December 2019 in room 108. The resort is brand new, but not finished yet. They are still working during the day time giving some dust and noise, although not very anoying. It is nicely located outside Pha An with beautiful view on the mountains. 
The rooms are very modern, spacious and clean, with balcony garden view. Very good beds (with toppers!), good pillows. There is a safe, complimentary water and coffee, tv and good airconditioning. WiFi only in restaurant and reception, but works very well. Large bathroom with walk-in shower (no bath, but we didn’t miss that), and all amenities.
Nice and modern infinity pool, with beds and towels. First day the water was very clear, but the next day some dirty water was pumped in the pool which made swimming impossible. That was a pity because it was a very hot day.
The restaurant looks nice, is in half open air and has a nice bar. Since there was a lot of wind, lots of things were blown away. The menu offers a large variety of dishes, but when we ordered, half of the menu was not available. The food we could order was ok, although we had better quality in other places.
The weak point of this resort is the staff. Although they are extremely friendly, they don’t speak English (the F&B manager speaks very good english and he is really doing his best to make you feel at home), are not familiar with western drinks or menu. Ordering was always a challenge and a surprise. After travelling 20 days in Myanmar we sort of accepted this as a Myanmar way of living. The day we left we had a pick-up at 7 AM. Breakfast starts at 6.30 AM, but when we arrived at 6.30, nobody was there. The chef came 20 min later, and we had our breakfast in a hurry.
Overall this resort is brand new, modern and promising. I think it opened a bit too early. The staff need to be trained and coached a bit more. We recommend this place, although it will only be perfect in a few months. We wish the management good luck and we hope to be back in the beautiful Kayin State. 


Promising hotel

We arrived at the hotel after a long day's touring from Yangon via numerous pagodas etc., to find the air conditioning not working. The staff were unable to rectify the problem but we were not offered another room. The food at the restaurant was not as the same standard as we became familiar with in other hotels throughout Myanmar. The waiters were more interested in watching what appeared to be the local awards program, on the restaurant TV, than serving us.

Hotel has a good layout but spoilt by some minor deficiencies

Please do the pest control. There are plenty of ants near the pool area and I was bitten. Breakfast spread was OK. The hotel allowed us for the complimentary early check in. However, check out process was slow. The staffs are friendly. Avoid staying in the deluxe rooms if you want to get good sleep. Noises from the express way may disturb your sleep as the deluxe rooms are approximately 100 meter away from express way. Good sun rise view though.
