Royal Diamond Motel is a bit out of town, before Nyaung Oo town (about 15min walk, 3min by car) coming from the airport, and the room was quiet even though facing the road 30m away (I am a light sleeper and had no problem sleeping). Our family room was quite spacious and would easily accommodate 4 adults. Beds were extremely comfortable, and because the hotel is recent, the room and bathroom are clean and not run down, making for a comfortable stay (we found the photos on website to be a good representation of actual conditions in December 2018). Breakfast was standard (bread and jam, rice and eggs, fruits, tea/coffee/juice) but copious. We enjoyed our 3 nights there and would definitely book here again on a return trip to Bagan !
