We had a wonderful time in the riad.
Our room was in the first floor with private bathroom, in the typical moroccan style. Breakfast was served in the  beautiful patio.
The caretaker was very kind and helped us to park the car in the narrow street of the medina. I recommend this riad highly. The only problem was to find it....it shoul be more highlighted

We spent two nights at Madison du Soleil and recommend it for its helpful manager, Sliman, the beautiful terrace, and our bright shiny clean room.  Best lighting in Morocco so far!  

The house has been redone in a very artistic way with bold colours and traditional touches.  Our room was off the terrace.  It was the smaller of the two rooms with attached bathroom but quite adequate for our needs for a 2 day stay.  Fortunately the AC heater worked well as it was extremely cold at night.  We ate our delicious breakfast provided by Sliman in the lounge room which has a lovely decor and beautiful carpets. In better weather it is served on the terrace.  Wifi worked well on the terrace.

At 50 Euros considering higher prices in Morocco this seemed to us to be excellent value.  All mod cons, with a new and well maintained bathroom where everything worked. Highly recommended for Tiznit.

We have just spent a memorable night in Tiznit where we stayed in the beautifully and authentically restored Maison du Soleil with French owner, Jacky, and Mustapha the caretaker (who really did 'care' about the comfort of guests). Jacky gave us a wonderful tour of the medina and went out of his way to tell us about the city. Our room was lovely with traditional furnishings and an immaculate bathroom. Breakfast was great too and served on the rooftop terrace. We wish we had had time to stay longer and remain very grateful to the kind Moroccan man who showed us to Maison du Soleil when our original booking at another place fell through. Great welcome, great accommodation

Although the owner was welcoming and friendly (albeit all in French which I sometimes struggled to understand, the room itself (Beige Room) was not great. Toilet was on the same floor, but in the reception area and the shower was upstairs. My room was also next to the host's living area so I often heard music and other noise. The bed was very firm, but I like that. Breakfast was very basic, coffee, juice and pastries.

Depends on your room

I was on a bike tour. They charged me 50 euros so I thought it would be something more luxurious. The Moroccan guy running the place (single handedly as far as I could see) had poor English. He charged me the full rate for a couple (it was shown in the rooms as '550 dh per couple'). There was only one other room occupied (by a couple) so I felt kind of hard done by. The breakfast is poor (no eggs, some pastries). There is virtually no tourist info (one map of female cooperatives on wall). There is a long list of 'do nots' on back of door (see photo) in French only.

The curtains onto the noisy street (with a bright streetlight) were transparent! Very plain rooms and decor, with one of those freestanding metal clothes hangers/racks with plywood shelves. No soap, 

The place is owned by ex-pats and I feel that when they are not on site the poor Moroccan guy has no room for manoeuvre on prices.

On my road trip I spent considerably less on much better places (not least Chez Amaliya, Tafroute, where I cycled from on this day), so I would not recommend this place. At least for single travellers.
