The place is on the edge of beautiful nature with amazing view. Everything is so comfortable there. a beautiful salon and a nice terrace. The breakfast is delicious and above all, our host Samir is an amazing person.
We were there on the way to Merzouga and came back again after..felt like home

During a family trip to the south of Morocco, we were pleasantly surprised by the place and the warm welcome of a very nice couple. Nice breakfast under the sun and hand made tajines. We recommend Riad Al Anwar to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Tinghir in a place you feel at home :)

Our host could not have been nicer or more accomodating. Secure motorbike parking spacious enough rooms for all the bike gear. Dinner on site booked after our arrival and the Tagine Kafka was exceptional. Would highly recommend for any bikers travelling through and intending to ride the Dades Gorge and or Todra valley

This is a late review, I went and stayed one night at Riad Anwar, it's a new place belongs to young wonderful couples, Samir and his lovely wife. As I remembered, this place was very cozy, clean with nice interior. Delicious breakfast on the top with green view, warm hospitality, I hope one day I can come back again. It's a nice stay before continue the trip. Good luck and more success, Samir.

The hotel (it is not exactly a riad though it is traditionally decorated and has different style of rooms) is on the outskirts of the city centre bordering the gardens where people grow maize, grains and vegetables. The owner has designed and constructed the building himself and he is still considering improvements. We could indeed find some such as better lights ( now only one bulb) in the bathroom and near the mirror and hooks to hang your coat. However all the rest was fine though a basic room in terms of facilities but sufficient space to stock your luggage. You can use the balconies for the view, to spend the evening and for Breakfast, or in case it is windy, like when we were there, the salon. That is no punishment as it is nicely decorated and large enough to home some of the residents. This hotel is already a recommendable place to spend a night in Tinehrir but will only become better in the future.

Our time in Tinghir was short, as it was only a stopover en route elsewhere, and so we had chosen somewhere that seemed cheap and simple. We were certainly satisfied with what we got here - our host was Mohammed and he gave us a more personal touch than a lot of other places we had stayed, with consistent warmth throughout. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and WiFi present throughout. Our breakfast the following morning was particularly pleasant - on the rooftop terrace in the sun, overlooking the oasis. Our only quibble was with the showers - there was no hot water the following morning due to a fault somewhere. Would certainly stay again if passing through.

My boyfriend and I just wanted to sleep somewhere and with the hotel everything was good, we were happy to stay there. The hotel itself was also clean and had everything you need. 
But in the end of our stay, we wanted to look for a bus from Tinerhir to Zagora. A man came to the hotel and was sopposed to help us with finding the bus station and everything, said the other two guys from Riad Al Anwar. We trusted them and let us guide from the guy. More and more we noticed that the man had no idea where we were going and he couldn't help us. Also we noticed that people were looking very strange at us and didn't want to talk with the man. He told us, that he lived a while in Amsterdam and he even knew some words in Dutch... So finally we just took a taxi and he came with us. Arriving at the bus station, men were yelling at him in arab and as soon as I begin to talk with a man from the bus station, the guy was gone. 

To make it short, the man came and told us that this man was involved in human trafficking and can't go out of the country again. We were shocked. And the most, because appearently everyone knew him, so I ask myself today why this two hotel guys let us go with a) a humantrafficker or b) with a stranger that they haven't seen before? I am just very glad nothing happened.
