Aqua Mirage Club & Aqua Parc - All Inclusive

Honest review of Aqua Mirage Hotel... We stayed at the hotel from Friday 7th November for one week all inclusive. Rooms - cleaned every day, fresh towels, air-conditioning great, small balcony with table and 2 chairs, views of the gardens. Small fridge works fine. Shower gel and hand soap in shower room. Toilet is separate from shower room. Plenty toilet roll. TV has 2 English speaking movie channels. Absolutely no complaints atall with the room. Food - lots of choice every meal time. Hot and cold food. Live grill. Salads. Plenty drink machines. We ate from the buffet restaurant every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never had any food poisoning or any issues. Staff all so pleasant and helpful. Lots of desserts on offer too and ice cream. We did stay away from the rice and pasta due to bad experiences in other destinations but honestly, we found everything we ate was perfectly cooked and very nice. Pools - we only used the adult pool. Clean, not too cold. Very pleasant and relaxing. Plenty chairs. No complaints. Gardens - all well kept. Site is very well maintained and clean. We found the bus to be great, always arrived on time, takes approx 20-30 mins each way. Most times u need a ticket from the hotel reception but sometimes u can just pay the driver. Honestly, the bus is the best way of getting into town and back to the hotel. 👍 Markets - we found them great! Sell everything and so cheap to buy from. They expect you to haggle! Be prepared for it and enjoy the banter 😂 whatever they say the price is your should look to get about 60-70% less than asking price! We ended up having to buy another case and another carry on bag as bought so much. Really made our week. At night its even busier and so crowded with people from all over the world. Enjoy it. Speak to everyone. Dont be put off by the folk saying its dangerous and full of thieves! U get the same dangers in your own countries. We found everyone to be very nice and good to talk to. Be nice to them and you will get the same back, simple. We even dropped a 200 dirham note at a stall and one local guy chased us down the street to give it back! Honestly, the markets, although extremely busy and crowded, great place! Enjoy the experience! Excursions - we went to the afagay desert for dinner and shows one evening through the hotel for about £85 for the 2 of us. Was brilliant! Very romantic and the dancing was hilarious 😂 loved it! After dinner there are live dancers, musicians and a fire dancer. They were all fantastic and well worth the money. 3 course meal included but u pay for ur drinks, not expensive tho. Can also do a camel ride or quad ride with the package but my wife is pregnant so we didn't do either. Just enjoyed sitting for a few hours before dinner and the show. Was very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Great experience! Banks/Cash machines - we lifted out cash at the cash machines on the market every other day. Approx £85 for 1000 dirham. Decent exchange. In the airport they were asking us for same rate however a £50 fee on top so I'd recommend just using the cash machine and not lifting too much as u won't need alot! Taxis - bit intense but we only every used 2 to the markets from the hotel and always paid 200 dirham about £18. Takes approx 20 mins. Airport/Transfer - not far atall from the airport, about 15 mins and probably cheaper just getting a taxi rather than pay for a transfer. We booked through loveholidays and the transfer was approx £100 for the both of us. All in all we both found everything to be 10/10 the entire week. Really had a great time. Also helps if u speak a little French at times as main language there but different times nowadays with Google translator and Google maps!
