What a great week-long break! Fouad's place is perfect for the relaxed trip we needed. The sea view, as others have said, from the apartment is wonderful and the apartment is clean and has everything you need (thanks to the lovely ladies who come in to clean every day). The flat is near plenty of little restaurants and bars on the main square for people-watching. Essaouira is a beautiful, interesting and friendly place - and Fouad's place is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.
