Riad Dar Kalifa

We stayed at Riad Kalifa for 5 days over the New Year period and were very satisfied. The Riad is clean, the breakfast was delicious and served at any time we requested. The room had a beautiful, comfortable four poster double bed and a large bathroom with a hammam style bath. There is a beautiful roof terrace and outdoor roof dining table for large parties too. Our hostess was most friendly and accommodating - helping us to plan trips and directing us to points of interest - even offering to walk us to various places should we get lost. We had a lovely stay and the Riad is in a convenient location, 5 mins walk from the square and central for many sights in Marrakech. At the night the walk back to the Riad can seem a bit dark and daunting but we never had any trouble from the locals and most of the Riads are set in the back streets off the square so this is not unusal.The only downside was that it was quite cold in December but extra heaters were provided for the room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
