Riad Casa Sophia absolutely exceeded our expectations! You couldn't ask for a more centrally located property, just a few minutes walk and you're in the middle of the Jamaa el-Fnaa square and souks, but quiet enough to think you're miles away. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff - Mehdi and Ali - they were absolute gems! Very accommodating and willing to help make everything as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was lovely every morning (we looked forward to this daily!) and the finishings of the riad and its decor was simply beautiful. Our airport transfers were arranged for us, as well as an excursion to the High Atlas Mountains, Berber villages & Agafay Desert which I HIGHLY recommended! Everything was hassle free and smooth. Not a "dislike", but the only tiny hiccups we encountered was with the heating (the batteries in the controller weren't working, so it was an easy fix) and the water of the shower takes a few minutes to warm up & increase in pressure. Allow it to run for a bit and it will sort itself out. I do not believe this is exclusive to this riad, but in general. As I previously wrote, very easy fixes but worth knowing beforehand.
