Riad Imilchil

We stayed here before and after our desert trip. Ayubi and Mohammed are the most excellent of hosts where honestly nothing is a problem. On arrival we were given a banquet of a breakfast whilst our room was checked. Our bags were taken up and we followed when we had eaten. Superclean room the pillows are as others have attested the fluffiest ever. After settling in we were given the full tour and asked if we wanted anything arranging whilst in Marrakech. We were told where to get cash from as it IS a necessity there some places do take card but many do not. We were also asked if we needed a guide to which we agreed for the following day. The guide was excellent and was with us for a long time taking us to all the places you need to see in the city for 80MAD(8€) not including tip. WE also got told the best place to eat a typical Moroccan dinner with entertainment. Mohammed collected us from the Riad and took us through the streets to this excellent venue the queue was not just out of the door but a long way up the street. We walked past the queue entered the building and floowed the queue inside too finally getting to a set of double doors where inside there was an empty table for us and the entertainment was starting. A standard set menu of a five plate starter, a main dish Tagine and a meat dish as well as rice, potatoes and veg.A pastry dessert with honey followed and all the while we had music, singers, dancers, typically dressed moroccan men twirling their hats and of course some tasteful belly dancing where the ladies had the men and ladies up having a go too. You could also buy wine/alcohol if you wished. Superb evening. We had tthree days in the desert then on returning for our last night/day we asked them to book a Hammam for us. It was the Rosa Bonheur and it was truly a great experience after the desert. Great job by all the staff big thanks to Ayubi and Mohammed 10 stars.
