Fantastic
696 reviewsAfter reading the reviews, we're so glad we booked to stay here. Communication with the riad was fast right from the beginning - all questions answered very quickly and they also offered additional services such as a pick up from the local CTM bus station to the riad, which was well worth it so we didn't get lost in the medina. The riad itself was stunning. Beautiful architecture and huge attention to detail in the decor and design - it really felt like an experience rather than staying in another generic room. It's right in the medina and only a short walk from the square and Bahia Palace - so very accessible for the sights. The room facilities are great, with everything you could possibly want including air con, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, lots of toiletries, a fridge with water and flatscreen TV, lots of lighting options in the room to suit your mood. On ground level there is a small plunge pool, great for using on hot days and you're given additional towels to dry off (or you can take the bathrobes from your room). You also have comfortable seating areas and we took breakfast down here (although you can use the roof terrace if you prefer). We stayed in the Rose Room which had a lounge area, seperate bedroom and bathroom - the decor was simply stunning and authentic. The bed was huge, very comfortable with a selection of pillows, soft or harder, so something to suit (with a dodgy neck this was a big plus for me). The shower was powerful and no problem with water temperature and all complimentary toiletries offered were all we needed. The aircon was also spot on after spending a day in 42 degrees heat. The roof terrace is beautiful - it's like a little oasis in the middle of a crazy, busy medina. It was so quiet, surrounded by beautiful flowers, shaded and sunny areas and lots of places to sit (or you can use one of the sun loungers). We really enjoyed taking a drink up here just to relax after the mayhem of the medina. Breakfast was perfect. Choices of pastries, breads, jams, honey and a lovely hot egg tagine. Lots of tea/coffee and fresh orange juice too. All beautifully presented. We were really impressed by the service - nothing was too much trouble at all and they were more than happy for us to continue to use the roof terrace after checking out, whilst waiting for our bus back to Agadir. We also had some lovel mint tea and biscuits whilst waiting which was really appreciated. In all a perfect stay, great facilities, beautiful room and the hosts are so welcoming and attentive. Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Thank you all so much for making a 60th Birthday special.
