Dar Rocmarra

We had an excellent stay at Dar Rocmarra. They arranged our airport transportation and since it's located in the Medina where cars are not allowed, Jalil, one of their staff, met us at the car and helped us with our bags to the door of Dar Rocmarra which gave us extra comfort given the more complicated navigation of streets. However, once we knew the way, the location is actually very convenient, near a popular transfer point for cars and short walk from there. The entire stay, Jalil (evening manager) and Jamila (day manager) took care of all of our needs from arranging transportation, breakfast at our preferred time, wine and beer in the evening, they helped with any request we had. The owner, Julie, helped us with recommendations for restaurants (we tried nearly all and they were fantastic) and arranged activities for us (Hammam, walking tour). We were traveling with my parents and my family of 3 staying in two different rooms. My family of 3 stayed in the Douria Suite which was very roomy and while the sleeping areas were open to each other, they were semiprivate with two twin beds in a nice nook of the room separate from the King bed. There was comfortable seating including a couch and a couple of chairs. The room was much roomier than the pictures suggested. We also frequently enjoyed the rooftop terrace for breakfast and drinks every day and a cozy indoor seating area as well. I feel lucky to have found this place. I highly recommend the bar at Les Jardins de La Koutoubia, old fashioned, great service with live piano player and Cafe Arabe.
