Riad Des Orangers Marrakech

I visited Marrakech as a student nurse many years ago and was hesitant to return. I am so glad I was tempted back by this jewel of a place, one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. Fabulous food to wake up to. Everything freshly made on the premises. Beautiful courtyards where you could enjoy freshly infused mint tea whilst flicking through gorgeous “coffee table“ books. The aroma of orange blossom is quite striking - I didn't think I liked the smell until I went there! Service was quite incredible. Someone on hand before you had time to look and always with a smile. The staff really want to make it a five star experience for all of their guests - we can't thank them enough. A sanctuary from the lively bargaining in the souk - about a five minute walk away. Two of the three swimming pools were heated and wonderful to dip in an out of at any time of the day.v Always somewhere to catch the last rays of the setting sun in comfort on a sun lounger on the roof terrace listening to the fading notes of various calls to prayer. If we return to Marrakesh, we would not hesitate to go back here and hope we get the opportunity!
