5 reviewsWe stayed at Riad Neela as two couples and three children. The riad has three bedrooms, two of which accomodate three people. The riad is fully self contained, including a full kitchen and a little rooftop seating area and is managed by the same people that run Riad Karmela, 50 metres away from Neela. Karmela has all the facilities of a hotel style riad and guests from Neela are welcome to use them all including the hammam, internet, public areas etc. All your expenses are put onto one bill at the end of your stay when you check out from reception at Karmela. They beauty of Neela is that you can book the whole residence (which we did) and it becomes your own retreat in Marrakech. The residence and bedrooms are decorated in true Moroccan style and everything was spotless. We had our own lady who came in the morning to make our breakfast and she stayed and cleaned, changed beds and generally tidied up our mess each day. You can organise a driver to collect you from the airport and take you to Neela/Karmela which is very useful as it can be a bit tricky to find on your first visit to Marrakech. Once you know where you are though, you'll find it very central to the souks, the square and everything that Marrakech has to offer. Joel and all his staff were welcoming and informative.
