La Rose Du Desert

We spent one night at this pleasant hotel. They have a lovely pool but it was too cold to use in february.  Breakfast and dinner were very nice and they set up in front of the fireplace which was very cozy. The room was nice and we had a heater which warmed up the space nicely. The shower was very good.

Private cabins are surrounded by olive and palm trees, agave and other desert plants. The main building includes common areas for dining, relaxing, and reception. Each cabin has a wide veranda lined with seating.  The overall effect is charming and calming.

Our bungalow was very nice and the pool was a wonderful addition to our vacation.  The staff is wonderful, very helpful and attentive to our needs.  We enjoyed the meals that we were served, I especially enjoyed the chicken tagine. I would stay at La Rose Du Desert again.

The drive from Fes was quite long and then it's very nice to be received by a very friendly staff with a big pot of mint tea. Nice cottages that are spread around the swimming pool. We were there in december so we were more happy with the cost fireplace ;-). We were served a great diner. We were allowed to stay the next day as long as we wanted before leaving for our dessert trip. You get all the freedom you want in this hotel.

Delightful retreat on our pre-tent camp night in the Erg Chebbi desert, highlighted by a romantic poolside dinner (delicious Moroccan fare; no wine available).

Large free-form pool is ringed by abundant date palms, with picking invited. (A bowl of dates was laid out.)

We had a smallish, comfortable room. Larger suites and free-standing cottages (bungalows) are available in the lushly landscaped, walled compound outside of Erfoud. Pleasant, dusty rural surroundings for brief walk. Fossils/minerals shop nearby.

Friendly, accommodating, multi-lingual staff, though unable to break a 100-dirham note for tipping denomination, regrettably. Lodge-atmosphere reception area next to dining room, with outside seating available.

Wonderful place to be after the stay in the desert. The bungalows a nicely located around the wonderful pool. Lots of palm trees make you feel being in an oasis. Very good dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff.


We found this place thx to the travel agency via which we booked our tour (whereby we always request authentic places to stay... with the necessary comfort :-) ).  Already a nice place when we arrived the first time. True paradise when getting back from the desert. Nice /clean / air-conditioned rooms. Very very friendly people. Good breakfast... A pool to stay in alll day ;-).

Lots of trees and green near the pool gives you the feeling being in an oasis. The service is really great, they go an additional mile to make you comfortable. Just outside of Erfoud makes this place the perfect breakout

It was a good place to stay on our way to Merzouga.

Fantastic place, great staff! We’ve been here to chill after the desert and before coming back home. It has been a great experince to recap on all adventures lived in Morocco.
The swimming pool is great, the room very clean, the staff is very very kind, the food very generous. We’ve been offered some omelettes for lunch to take away that were amazing!

Very nice bungalow with air condition and a veranda . It was a big room with a bath room . Everything very nice and clean . Beautiful pool area , huge exellent breakfast included . We  had dinner there the first night and I had a meatball tagine  and Moroccan salad . Unfortunately something made me sick to my stomach , I recovered the next day so the next night we went somewhere else for dinner .all in all I can recommend this hotel . Very  peaceful and lovely with the pool and bungalows

Little paradise with nice relaxing pool 

Enjoyable hotel made out of bungalows just north of downtown Erfoud. Free Parking in front of Hotel, just a few steps at the entrance, otherwise everything at the same level. Bungalows are clean and spacious, with Moroccan decor. In front of the bungalows cozy terraces with comfortable seating area, perfect to relax.
Well kept garden and pool area. Food served is good and abundant although with limited choice.

Perfect place to relax

Nice room, rustic and very traditional. The surroundings is planted with dates and there’s also a sizeable pool to swim in.

The staff here are just amazing! Always smiling and helpful. Our package includes dinner and breakfast. I must say, there were plenty of food served.

Only issue I had was the bathroom has no door (difficult when sharing rooms with colleague/friend) and the WiFi is terribly slow and unstable.

Other than that this is a fine resort for stopovers.

Very Traditional 

A welcome respite after driving across the desert through a sandstorm. Friendly staff, lovely rooms, and refreshing swimming pool made for a good rest. We enjoyed fresh mint tea on arrival and had a beautiful bountiful breakfast with an array of breads

Restful Lovely place to stay

Comfortable spacious room with additional sofa and coffee table.  Modest Moroccan breakfast. I guess I came a bit early for breakfast, but the staff was able to serve me fast enough. Nothing to write home about. 

Good enough for an overnight stay before trip to Merzouga and glamping on the Sahara desert
