Kasbah Luna del Sur

We stayed one night in the Kasbah del Sur in the course of a six day tour with Desert Explored. The whole of that period was exceptionally cold but this home had wood burning closed stoves in the living room, electric convector heater in our bedroom and, unbelievably joyful, an electric blanket in the bed! The warmest, most comfortable night we had during the six day trip. This is an unusual review due to the climatic conditions but I must stress that, in addition we were most impressed by the further attributes of our host, a talented artist whose paintings of primitive humans and animals decorate the walls, the superb dinner which he had prepared, and his knowledge generally of the area which he was happy to share with us. We would have been more than glad to have stayed longer but our planned schedule didn't allow for it.
