Villa Spas offers large, clean and fully equipped flats a few hundred metres outside Budva's Old Town. Our living room came with sofas, telly, air-conditioning and a kitchen corner. The bedroom had a large double bed. Flats to the south have a terrace and good views over Mogren beach. The views have only been mildly spoiled by the construction of a flat building a little further down. The main road to Kotor can be heard from outside, but never bothered us. The rooms and furnishing were spotlessly clean and still fairly new. The flat and its terrace are big and nice enough to hang around for a day if you don't feel like the beach or the town. The only downside may be the steep climb from the town and the beaches to the villa. The way is completely 'walkable' (if reasonably fit) and the owner can show you the quickest way down, making use of some hidden stairs. It will take about 15 min. up from the old town. Still, you probably won't just drop back in once at the beach, so make sure to take your towel. A taxi ride, by the way, will set you back about 5 EUR to the bus station and about 3 EUR to the old town (prices are from August 2012!). The staff consists of the owner and a cleaner, both absolutely lovely people. The owner speaks fluently English and German.
