Secret Garden

Travelling in Mongolia if you don't use travel agency and you don't have your own vehicle is challenging. Almost every trip begins and ends in UB. So we were looking at the hotel which may be our base. The place we want to come back while in UB. And the Secret Garden hotel was perfect. We managed to keep some of our belongings there (you don't need mountain equipment while going to Gobi desert). We spent around 11 nights there in total. The staff was very friendly. Their English was good enough to communicate. Hotel manager helped us with visa extention and other things you need to organize during your first day in the new country (ATM, getting Mongolian simcard to our phone etc). It's a walking distance from Downtown (if you like to walk). There is a city bus (ч37) on Damdinbazar street which will bring you to Peace Avenue within minutes (bus goes only one direction on Damdinbazar - it's stop is at the opposite side where hotel is).
