I booked a quick last minute trip to Tulum and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Las Palmas Maya. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was ideal and the quick beach access was very clutch. But best of all was Tom, Malika, and the whole team. Traveling alone, they welcomed me graciously and made sure I was able to enjoy my stay. Tom thank you for your hospitality and friendship. I hope to come back soon!

I stayed at Las Palmas in Dec 2020 for 4 days with a friend and I was very pleased with the accommodations! Tom, the hotel owner is THE MAN and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He translated for us and he even made sure I took the right bus back to the Cancun airport on my way out. Compassionate people make your journey that much more enjoyable! Needless to say, I fell in love with Tulum and I will definitely be back very soon!!

Tom was absolutely the best host. Gave us great tips and ideas for our daily adventures. Tom knows whats happening in the area was able to get us into a sold out event which was amazing! Would stay again! Thanks again for everything.

We are not kidding when we say that Tom is the best host in the world. The beach access is across the street through La Eufemia. Tom had recommendations for our stay that were all perfect. The room was clean and the cafe was a blessing having it right at the front gate. The value is the best on the strip for the jungle side. Our room was near the street and it was still quite enough for a good night's sleep.

The entire stay here was amazing. This was my first stay in the area and could not have asked for more. The people here are more than happy to help you with any troubles. Furthermore, their knowledge of the area is extensive, making it a huge plus as a first time visitor. Genuinely, I would give another star if I could.

Everything was perfect!  Our room was beautiful and the staff is wonderful. I loved the communal space for cooking and meeting with Tom and other guests. This is a treasure tucked away in a beautiful setting inTulum.  I look forward to returning to visit this area and staying at Las Palmas Maya.  Tom is the perfect host and provides so much information to help you have the best trip ever.   I will never forget my stay and can not wait to return. I fell in love and will be back.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at Las Palmas Maya, extending our trip everyday that we could! The rooms/cabins were very clean, hot and high pressure shower, comfy beds etc...

The highlight was Tom, the hotel manager. He made our stay the best possible! Organising trips, excursions and giving us all the best recommendations for beaches, bars and restaurants. I will without a doubt stay here on my next visit to Tulum! I can’t thank Tom enough for everything he did for us.

BEST VALUE along the beach!!! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in Feb 2019 and again in Nov 2020 and both stays were amazing!

Las Palmas Maya is a beautiful quaint gem just across the road from the beach (beach access is only 2-3 min walk from the hotel). A small hotel with an amazing staff offers plenty of quiet privacy for those wanting to get away from the sometimes crowded streets and restaurants. Amazing wifi and completely green and off the grid for all the eco-friendly travelers. The hotel also offers bike rentals for easy travel along the beach road!

Tom is the full time American manager at the hotel and he offers excellent service. He has plenty of recommendations for restaurants and activities in Tulum and will even do all the hard work of scheduling any tours or excursions you'd like to go on. He ensured both our trips were comfortable and amazing and we're looking forward to seeing him again for our next stay.

Tom and his crew are actually the best people ever. Providing tons of info on things to do, keeping the place clean and comfortable, providing coffee in the morning, and the location were our favorite things. Thanks so much Tom!

Las Palmas Maya is the cutest and most beautiful little hotel I have ever stayed at before! Everything is clean, from the room to the community kitchen! Las Palmas Maya is close to everything you need and is easily accessible. Plus they have AC! You can rent bikes to cruise around town too. Plus the onsite cafe, Las Palmas Maya Cafe, has the best food and coffee. Molika is a true chef and makes the yummiest creations, familiar and new, to eat and drink! Thomas and Molika are the most gracious and hospitable hosts I have ever met!!! You have to stay here at least once in your life, so stop thinking about it and book your trip to Tulum now!

Absolutely love this hotel! Tom and Molika are so helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and what to do! Las Palmas Maya is the Gem of Tulum. Beautiful foliage throughout the property, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the A/C is a game changer in the Mexico heat. My wife and I can't say enough great things about this place. We loved using the bicycles to explore Tulum, and eating breakfast at the cafe! Highly recommended. If you're heading to Tulum, this should be your home away from home.

Beautiful place, great food, and wonderful people!!!

Tom is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. He has a ton of knowledge about Tulum, whether it be about the best places to eat, go diving, the best ATM to use, etc. 

The room is cleaned daily, there is a communal kitchen to use, very sweet and accommodating staff, and amazing local coffee (not Nescafé! and as an avid traveler, that was quite the perk). It’s about a 20 minute drive to the city center and you can access the beach from a walkway across the street. The breakfast restaurant in the front is also lovely. 

Lastly, the WiFi is exceptional. It rained and stormed quite a bit during my visit and I always had access to a strong WiFi connection, which is important since I work from my computer. Was a great value overall, I would definitely recommend.
