Maria Coral Hotel

I recently spent a relaxing weekend at the Maria Coral Hotel on the beach in Isla de la Piedra. The beach is fabulous and was never crowded. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. I was on the top corner with an unobstructed view of the ocean, which all of the top floor rooms have. It had an awesome jet tub in the room. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that were no chairs to sit in, just the bed, dresser & tv. The staff was great and the pool was sparkling and very refreshing in the heat of the day, especially with the poolside bar with stools in the water. I found the food to be decent but not excellent. I thought the price was great for the location with a stretching beach with the surf lapping in. It was a peaceful weekend and I would recommend it. It's pretty much the last hotel on the beach and miles of uninhabited coastline at your beckoning.
