Cabañas Santa Isabel

My family and I have stayed here numerous times over the last three years. It's our "go to" quiet get away in the middle of Sierra Madre Occidental. The cabins are perfectly equipped: fireplace, kitchen with gas stove, bathrooms with hot water, multiple bedrooms and even a TV & DVD player. The view from the cabins deck is breathtaking first thing in the morning (really wish I had a picture) when you can see the sunlight touching all of the tree tops. The cabin also has swings and a huge bonfire that can be light up at night if you want to do a smores and stories kind of thing. One of the things that I enjoy the most about these cabins is the privacy; I don't have other 20 cabins around me. This cabins are truly isolated in a private property, no other cabins in sight, and you can loose yourself in the middle of nature: take a hike, walk down the creek, or even ask the owners for a ride down the zip line (must do!) and you will forget about the stress of the big city. If you forget any groceries, El Salto (small, very southwestern town) is 10-15 min away (driving) and has a grocery store as well as some excellent bakeries. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
