Solana Beach - Adults Only

The welcoming team upon arrival (especially Lusna already started my overall positive experience at this hotel. The receptionists were not only friendly but also chatty and funny (which I personally like!). They kept my luggage till my room was ready. Meanwhile I explored the grounds of this nicely landscaped property with lots of blossoming flowers, wide paths, various hotel buildings, the pool and the beach area. Everything is well maintained, tidy and clean.I absolutely loved my room on the ground floor with a small terrace and only 8-10 meters away from the sea! The morning viewswere fantastic!The room was equipped with a kettle with complimentary coffee/tea, a fridge (2 bottles of water per day were delivered every afternoon), haidryer, aircon, daybed, chairs/table on the terrace.The buffet restaurant offered a large breakfast buffet lots of choices (hot & cold) and crispy bread. The evening buffets had different themes and I found everything quite delicious. Items wre always fresh and constantly refilled.The only thing that I found a bit annoying was that the dishes were sometimes taken away when I was just about to drop the fork - a bit too quickly in my opinion.The hotel offered various activities (including yoga, evening entertainment, SUPs, glassbottom boat trips) for free and other things at a fee (diving, spa treatments etc). The gym was small (unfortunately the wifi didn’t reach the basement - I suggest an amplifier for that area) but had good equipment.
