Villa Park Sun Island Resort

The island is not only beautiful, but well kept and the staff work tirelessly to make sure that it remains the paradise to envisage from the moment to arrive to the second you leave. We came as a family and felt valued before we even got off the speedboat. We were buggy chauffeured to reception where we met our host Pratima who was available throughout our entire stay via WhatsApp for any questions or issues we may have had, and came over to us whenever we saw her to keep it personal. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, they even swept the roads daily (shows you the extent they went to live up to your expectations). The pool area is welcoming, and it's the first location I've been to where it's hard to choose which to use, pool or sea as both are picture perfect and a nice temperature. Special mentions to Shamim who met us with a smile and arranged our sun loungers every day, and Tara from the bar who took care of us both morning and night serving us on the beach, and knowing our drinks through to the evening. And it's the staff that truly make this place, because no matter how beautiful the location (and this truly is), it's the hospitality that really makes you want to tell friends and come back year after year. Food wise there is always something to choose from, and even though we have two fussy eaters they always found a choice in the buffet. The food is constantly managed by chefs and servers, ensuring labels are correct and the food is hot and available even when it's at its busiest, in fact the entire restaurant, like every area we came across on the island is like a finely oiled machine and well managed. Come for the location, stay for the amenities (which are plentiful and you'll always find something to do or explore), and come back for the experience that only the staff at this location could have made.
