Lily Beach Resort & Spa

We stayed at Lily Beach Resort & Spa for six nights — 3 nights in a Beach Villa and 3 nights in a Water Villa with Pool. Today is the day we’re leaving this paradise, and honestly, I felt like crying while packing our bags. Every excursion we joined was so much fun. We were incredibly lucky to see both whale sharks and manta rays during the Ocean Adventure Tour! We even booked a private boat tour just to see more mantas — and it was absolutely worth it. Thanks to our amazing crew, especially TIMA, we saw seven mantas in total and spent over three unforgettable hours in the water. TIMA truly has the eyes of a manta radar! Huge thanks also to our wonderful boat driver for making it possible. Around the resort, everyone we met was kind and welcoming — from the buggy drivers (especially the ones who always drove us to Vibes Bar for DJ Night), to the Lily Maa restaurant team (special thanks to the staff member who always told us about the Korean specials!), and the Aqva Bar bartenders, who were all so friendly. At Vibes Bar, a big shoutout to the server who kept refilling my champagne — I think I drank more than a bottle that night 😂🥂💛 — and to the two DJs we met there. Their playlist was exactly our taste (EDM, pop, and hip-hop). We even started dancing thanks to Lady Olga, who encouraged us when no one else was dancing 💃🏼🕺🏼. Those nights were truly unforgettable. On our last day, we had our final lunch at Vibes Bar, and that same server smiled and said, “See you next year!” before we left. I really hope we’ll get to see him again someday 😢💛 Everyone — from reception to housekeeping — was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. I’m sorry I can’t remember all of your names, but we truly appreciate every one of you. The food at Lily's food was just amazing. After months of dieting for our wedding, our stomachs had shrunk a bit, which was a little sad because we wanted to eat everything! But we did our best — and maybe because we spent so much time swimming, we didn’t gain any weight 😂 At Lily Maa, the Bolognese was my absolute favorite! One of the staff members always greeted me so cheerfully with a big “xie xie!” that I couldn’t even bring myself to say I was Korean 😂 He was just so kind and full of positive energy every time. The underwater world around Lily Beach is absolutely beautiful. We even planted a mango tree, named after our dog “Mango.” I wonder if we’ll ever get the chance to come back and see it again someday. We truly hope so — because this place feels like heaven on earth.
