Jumeirah Olhahali Island Maldives

We stayed at Jumeirah Olhahali for 5 nights at the start of November 2025 and it was by far the best holiday we’ve had. Whilst the transfers are expensive, the process from the Jumeriah is seamless. There is zero stress and zero hassle. From the moment you collect your baggage at the airport, there is a member of staff to look after you. Ishaan was prompt and helpful. We took the speed boat and it was a smooth trip. We celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday during our stay. The team at Jumeirah Olhahali went above and beyond in every aspect. The island is small and intimate. There is a real close feeling with all staff as they pay close attention to detail to remember the important details. We stayed in an ocean villa. The room was amazing, so big and catered to our family needs so well. It was so clean, modern and spacious. There are 3 restaurants, all of them served tasty food, lots of different options and the portion sizes were great. The staff in the restaurants were also amazing, always remembering the little details about our family and having things ready before we arrived. We enjoyed being greeted by Zinadia and she looked after us very well. Fazeel was also lovely each day, checking in on how our stay was going when we would eat at the restaurants. The spa was also small, with treatment rooms only however the treatment rooms are awesome. We had 2 massages and we felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. It was worth the money. We also did snorkelling and had a photo session with the in house photography team. Again, everything was organised extremely well. We could not complete this review without mentioning our fantastic island host. Maazy was/is the reason our stay at the Jumeriah Olhahali was so fantastic. All guests are assigned an island host who look after you. Maazy went above and beyond every day to help our family. There were balloon decorations and birthday cakes organised. Our daughter became so attached to Maazy within a matter of days, this just shows how kind she really is. Maazy helped us with whatever we needed. The most touching thing was when Maazy provided support to us when our daughter fell unwell. Maazy came with the hotel doctor to take a look at our daughter late at night. We were so touched and my daughter felt at ease seeing someone she recognised. It didn’t just stop there, Maazy followed up in the following days to constantly check on our daughter and provided everything we needed to get her better. She even left a personalised message made with sand at our front door to wish our baby well soon. This was the cherry on top for us. It is worrying as parents when our babies are unwell and your in another country but to have support from such incredible staff truly summarises how amazing Jumeirah Olhahali is. At the Jumeirah Olhahali, the staff are by far the hotels biggest and most important asset. We have never received such a high standard of service in other hotels and we were so impressed. We didn’t want to leave the island. It was truly 5 nights in paradise and our only regret was not booking a longer trip! Thank you everyone for making our daughter’s 1st birthday the most memorable celebration ever. We will never forget you and we can’t wait to visit again.
