36 reviewsIf you are looking for an authentic place to spend your vacations at Himmafushi this is the place to stay, hands down. Yeah, there might be other fancier hostels with yoga and that king of things you may find anywhere in the world, but you won't get a place that 100% belongs and is ran by a local like in Jailbreak Surf in. Amin (the owner) is a legend. Always making sure you are comfortable, super friendly and the most just owner I have ever met anywhere in the world. Even though we have agreed on a price previously (which was already a under price value) by the end he spontaneously suggested a discount because we did not use the boat trips we were entitled to. Great rooms with vent and AC, very clean, and spacious bathroom. The food is more than adequate and tasty in general, even though a little more variety in the menu would be welcomed. Absolutely recommended, even without taking the price into consideration. Given that the price is so just, it is a gem.
