77 reviewsBeautiful, calm, barefoot island. All sand (like all islands in the Maldives) come from coral, so i wont get hot like on normal beaches. People are very friendly and they are proud of their island. Not very crowdy, and not much to do - ind a good way. Played football with the locals. Happy Lives is build with a good sense and style. Fancy in an genuine way. Only 40 steps from the waterline. Excellent service by Isaac, owner Hassan and the rest of the staff. Hassan arranged snorkeling and dolphin trips. Feeding Stingrays and small sharks after dark. Small reef 10 m. from shore. Lots of construction going on, like on the rest of the islands. Hope they keep som of the real Maldives..if you want 5 star hotels, go to some of the resort islands.
