Loved Lohis and the surf community. My husband and I took our three daughters in their 20's, two who surf. This was an excellent experience. The surf was excellent and the communication around the boats to the different spots was great and timely. All of the surf guides were super friendly. It was also fun connecting with the other surfers staying there. My family got some of the best waves of their life. Lohis was pumping and bit too big for my daughter's (and sometimes my husband) but there was plenty of surf available to them at other spots. I didn't surf and neither did one of my daughters but we had a fun time sitting on the deck and being so close to the surfing at Lohis and cheering everyone on especially with such huge waves. A big plus was being able to have breakfast and lunch buffet at Lohis and not in the main dining hall. Surf BBQ night was very special and fun. The main resort has its pros and cons. I wouldn't go just for the resort itself. But it has very nice beaches to relax on and also there is impressive snorkeling just a few feet off the shore. The pool area isn't great and the clientele outside of the surf community is very different. Gym and tennis court are also uninspiring. A few staff that deserve compliments for their excellent service: Ryan and his surf guides especially Buddyy and Maju. Azeez and his Lohis food/drink service crew - Zaheen, Karim and Chef Wank. Azeez would have the ice coffees ready for the girls as soon as he heard the surf boat was back in the morning. Rumesh took excellent care of our villa and made sure we were always stocked with plenty of water. Ali in the main dining hall who would have our table set with watermelon juice as soon as he saw us arrive.
