Amilla Maldives Resort

This was our second visit to Amilla Maldives, having traveled there with our two children in October 2024. We cherished our previous experience so much that, despite the numerous other resort options available, we chose to return to Amilla to avoid disappointment. We were pleased with our decision, as we stayed in a two-bedroom beach villa once again and requested our favorite butler, Buddy. Upon our arrival at Male Airport, Naïf, the airport representative, greeted us and escorted us to the Amilla lounge, which was both comfortable and spacious. Naïf was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. At Amilla, we were delighted to see Buddy again, who greeted us with his signature smile. He was not only professional but also approachable, ensuring that everything met our expectations. Our dinner reservations were already arranged at our favorite Japanese restaurant, and Buddy kept us informed about daily activities, ensuring we didn’t miss any exciting events. Our children adored him, especially our youngest, who wanted to spend all his time with Buddy. We enjoyed snorkeling together, exploring the vibrant house reef teeming with marine life. Amilla also offers a variety of dining options, including Indian, Greek, Italian, and a beach club, all of which we found enjoyable, though we consistently favored the Japanese cuisine. Our week-long stay at Amilla was so delightful that we were reluctant to leave, but we knew we had to return to work to fund our next visit. The staff at Amilla were incredibly friendly and dedicated, with the gardening team consistently maintaining the island's beauty, even offering us fresh coconuts that were deliciously refreshing. The restaurant staff were attentive to our dietary preferences, especially considering our youngest child's allergies, ensuring we made safe food choices. The wonderful aspect of our experience was that the restaurant team anticipated our needs without reminders. Yashuda, our favorite waiter, provided exceptional service, ensuring our family felt well cared for during our brief stay. We are already considering extending our next visit to two weeks, as there is so much more to explore at Amilla. Undoubtedly, no other resort can match the dedication of this team.
