Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa Resort

I booked Park Hyatt in the Maldives for our combined honeymoon/1 year anniversary based on other reviews I had read, and wow, they led us to the most unforgettable experience. While the trip to get from the US to Maldives is certainly not easy, it's particularly worth it for this luxury resort. From start to finish, you are made to feel like their number one guest. On arrival in Male, you are met by a local concierge who escorts you to an airport lounge where you wait for the local transfer flight, which is about an hour long. Then a private boat awaits you, which takes about 35 minutes to arrive to Hadahaa. On arrival, you are met by your host and multiple staff members with a traditional coconut and necklace as a welcome to the island. Our host, Eid, took us by buggy to our beach pool villa where we were delighted to have been upgraded and gave us a brief tour. We found a complementary champagne awaiting us and a beautifully decorated room for our honeymoon. The food there was some of the best we ever had. We want to give special thanks to executive sous chef, Manuel, for going out of his way to make us multiple special off-menu items. Kartikeya, the associate director of food & beverage also went above and beyond to leave us additional complementary treats to make sure we felt very special while we celebrated multiple special occasions this trip. Krishna and James were incredible servers who always greeted us with a smile and infectious positive energy every morning. I booked a private dinner for our combined honeymoon/anniversary trip and the staff made menu adjustments to accomodate my dietary restrictions with ease, serving up a meal we will never forget! The accomodations are perfect, our villa was kept immaculate daily by Hassan - the detail to housekeeping is  incredible. Every step of the way, your needs are anticipated without needing to request anything. Special thanks to our hosts, Eid and Moosa who helped us with everything. Rokuu from the experience team who helped us with a special photo and gift from the island. The house coral reef was breathtaking, many beautiful fish, reef sharks, and even Ben the local sea turtle. We went in the low season, so it often felt like we had the entire island/resort to ourselves. A the spa, we were able to enjoy aquatic yoga, make your own facial scrubs and a 90 minutes couple massage that all leaves one feeling completely relaxed.
