Embudu Village

A wonderful week in paradise. Staff very friendly. Felt extremely safe at all times on the island. Abdullah was such a warm sincere hard working man. Thank you for your wonderful efforts and morning chats. You went above and beyond throughout our stay. A real asset to Embudu. The sea life was the highlight of this trip for me. Nurse Sharks, eagle rays, white tip shark, black tip reef sharks, spinner dolphins and turtles all made appearances. Along with the huge array of fish that live on the corals. We did multiple trips with embudu and with the dive centre situated on the island. I have to recommend the shark and ray experience. Just WOW! Food was always plentiful. There’s always something you’ll find that you like. It’s certainly not geared to be lively. It’s a very small and quiet island. Never felt too overcrowded during our stay even though the island is small. Never had an issue finding a sun lounger. I didn’t feel a pressure to tip here either. Tips are greatly received but certainly not expected. It was my birthday during our stay and we enjoyed a private dining experience on the beach. It was so beautifully done and the service was exceptional. Embudu really do have a wonderful team of workers. They decorated my dining table with birthday wishes and I can’t even explain the hard work and effort that was put into decorating the bed with more birthday wishes. I was given a wonderful birthday cake and selection of fresh fruits. Water is $3 a large bottle which I think is very reasonable. We were given two bottles of water free each day which we rarely finished anyway. This resort was really wonderful. It’s not luxury but it’s warm and welcoming and very comfortable.
