While walking on the beach one day I met lovely Fahima who was fishing. She was so friendly and welcoming and easy to talk to I just wanted to hug her! Then I had a horrific experience at a nearby hotel I was staying that refused to book excursions and ruined the one I did get arranged. I went into the village to find a boat owner to hire myself and had the awesome fortune of hiring Mohosin who was able to get me into the water a couple yards from a 20 foot whale shark before the horde of flailing tourists from the other boats stampeded us. Mohosin really saved the day and made up for my previous bad experiences. He is a wonderful human being that treated me with the utmost respect and caring!! The guesthouse is cozy, very well maintained, and super clean. The most important thing is that they have a lot of competition from very greedy and shady hotels nearby that will manipulate and extort you. But the name of their business is spot on. If you want to experience the absolute best the Maldives has to offer you won’t find it in any better people!!
