25 reviewsMathiveri Stay is a wonderful pearl in Paradise. We stayed at the guesthouse for five days, early 2018. The staff is wonderful and at your side all the time to fulfill our every need, may it be serving meals, just coffee or answering questions. We had all our meals there and Francesca's Italian touch to the Maldivian cuisine was great! The garden of the guesthose is secluded and very nice and quiet. As there are only three rooms there was ample space for everybody. The rooms are Maldivian in style; simple, nice and very clean. We did two excursions during our stay; evening fishing (when we got back to the guesthouse, the fish was barbecued and we had a delicious meal!) and a snorkling excursion where Ismael expertedly guided us to see turtles and myriads of fish! The western shore of the island is easily accessable for snorklers and show a suprising variety of fish and coral. The guesthouse has a private beach with chairs and umbrellas for the guests. The island itself is small, very clean and the local people are very nice. Mathiveri, and Mathiveri Stay, provides everything you wish for when looking for a nice, comfortable, realxing and beautiful vacation. We will be back!
