The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

We have just returned from a wonderful 8 night stay at the hotel. From the very moment we arrived and throughout our stay the staff were all truly amazing. A special mention to Qistina, the manager at the Langkawi Kitchen who went above and beyond to look after us. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she always went out her way to chat to us and make us feel special. Her lovely calm, organised and professional manner make her stand out. She also took the time to come and see us on the day we were leaving. We were left with a really memorable experience. Absolutely loved the restaurant too! We were on a half board basis and were able to eat at all the restaurants with virtually no restrictions. The food at all restaurants is superb and the chefs are all very visible and will introduce themselves which is a really nice touch. Our room was fabulous, very large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea and rainforest. Our thanks also to Ashok from housekeeping who cleaned our room twice a day without ever disturbing us. It was always immaculate when we got back from breakfast. We always had handwritten notes, towel art or something he thought we would find useful. We never ran out of anything as it was always topped up, right down to the small details which we appreciated. Every touch point with every member of staff was excellent and they all genuinely seem happy and want to help. Thanks also to Shammy (not sure of spelling), the buggy driver who would often wait for us to drive us around the resort and chat to us. A wonderful experience from start to finish with exceptional service. We will definitely be returning.
