Home not very warm we waited to drink coffee the boy had the welcome advised us to go drink it in town dinner deplorable salad of fried carrots with crispy breadcrumbs hyper dirty inedible meat thick not cooked of dubious consistency pastesfrozen with cold egg broccoli but not cooked and lamentable flavor only dessert was right chocolate muffins 2 HS sinks no soap in distributors... a positive point room quite correct no room in the bedroom but extra 7 euros per person active I do not recommend

We went for a hike around the Mullerthal Trail and this Youth Hostel was right in the middle of our 2day hike. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked bedbunks in the dormitory and were pleasantly suprised to get a room for ourselves. Please mind that we went during offseason, which probably gives them the possibility to do so. 
Either way, we checked out the dorm later on, and it was spacious and tidy as well.
They have a meeting room with a fireplace etc. Everything was clean and they even serve dinner for a reasonable price. Breakfast was included in the price, nothing fancy - but good enough.
All in all - if I should ever go to this region again, I'll be back no hesitation about that. Can only recommend it!

We were very disappointed in this hostel. The person at the front desk was unpleasant. You have to book your dinner 24 hours in advance, otherwise it's too late. The rooms are small, with a sink and the old carpet that should be changed. You have to book 24 hours in advance if you wish to have dinner there. The breakfast is small. Rooms, with carpet that should be hidden behind a sliding door, should definitely not be stopped. This is a shame. We were disappointed by this hostel. Disappointed

During our cycling trip through Luxembourg, we were in Larochette for two nights. The reception was very friendly, we got a double room shower and toilet on the way. It was all neat and very clean. The daily changing dinner menu had to be pre-ordered in the morning, which is why we were in Larochette for dinner the first night (not worth a review). Our rest day (from cycling) was spent with a walk to the castle and a small walking tour around Larochette for the rest of the afternoon at the hostel's lawn. On the second day we had the salad of salmon mixed with fennel and ice cream.

Accelerated

With a lot of hostels across many countries, I can attest that this is a quality hostel. One of the most luxurious I've ever been able to set foot in. Also, I was clearly overclassified in a double room instead of the planned dormitory. Good breakfast also offered with a little more than bread and jam as in some other hostels. In short, a very good stay.

Luxury hostel

We spent two nights at the Larochette Youth Hostel with a group of hikers. The hostel opened at 5:00 p.m. but the reception desk was empty for over half an hour. We were patient reading the available tourist brochures. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable; that's the most important thing. The first breakfast went bad and the second game went well. Avoid eating your dinner there: no choice, no good food ==> a black dot. The wifi only worked in front of the hostel. The area is very nice for hiking.

Clean and comfortable room.

From small bungalows quite comfortable for families. A bedroom with overlapping beds and a private room. A clean and well-arranged place. A pleasant and well-placed place to visit the area. A satisfying breakfast.

A good business address

Located in a beautiful green arounding, quit in the nature; many young tourists from Holland and Swiss like to come here to relaxe in a peaceful atmosphere; the castle from Larochette is not faraway, and many nice walks are around, also for nice biketours.

Youth Hostel Larochette / Luxembourg

The hostel is great value for money, with basic hostel accommodation (bunk beds in bunglows). We were lucky and got a whole bungalow to ourselves which was great (we were a group of 4). Good breakfast with lovely bread, cheese, meats and cereals. There is onsite parking. Larochette is really lovely with some nice walks and, of course, the castle. The only downside to the hostel is that they don't have a self-catering kitchen. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a budget option in Luxembourg

Great value in a very pretty town

Very nice, friendly and perfect for hikers at MullerHaltrail. Very pleasant home cooking, local produce, vegan on demand, fair. Ask the chef for good advice for your walks, walks and explorations of the area...
