Ošupio Takas

Great trip with my fiancé. We had a wonderful stay at an Osupio guest house. We were travelling around the Baltic Sea on holiday and visiting family and decided to stay here to wind down for a short while during our holiday. I am so glad we did! The guest house is new, large and very comfortable with lovely little touches of Lithuanian culture dotted throughout the furnishings and decorations. The bedrooms are welcoming and toasty warm which is perfect after a day spent cycling or strolling by the beach. The forrest and sea is only a stones throw away and if that feels like too far there is also an outdoor swimming pool with sauna. There is beautiful scenery on the door step (and from every window!) with simple shops and cafes a few hundred meters down the road. The hosts had great recommendations for activities and places to eat during our stay. My most enduring memories are of my fiancé trying his hand at cooking Lithuanian shashlik on the outdoor fireplace and enjoying bike rides into the forrest. I can only imagine how beautiful this place would be during the summer. Hopefully it won't be long before we are back and able to see it for ourselves. Highly recommended! Wifi was rather slow but hosts explained it is due to network coverage in the area which was not a big issue for us
