San Giorgio

We are a couple. We've stayed 4 weeks in San Giorgio hotel, Faraya, Lebanon. It was really an enjoyable stay with those stunning views of the mountains from out balcony, lounge room and bedroom. The service was very good. Cleanness rate is 8, environment very good, weather excellent during the month of August (Summer). The staff were so friendly and supportive. reception was attended 24/7. Food was great when ordered. No delays in room service. We will go again if it happened that we need to be in Lebanon.

Cheap, clean, great location.

If you are looking for a place to stay in the snowy Faraya area and can spare 150$, stay elsewhere, plenty of good options. This is average for a 3* hotel. So by normal hotel standards this is not a great place for 90-150$/night. The hotel is old, the staff are not professional, more casual and don't really care for client service.

The furnishing is old, rooms smell a little musty and bed linens, blankets and toilets are old.

Keyword here is old. Breakfast is poor. Some local Manoushe's are the best part, basically a hot dough can be filled with cheese or oregano also some basic cheese and tea is served.

Old 3* hotel

We stayed for 1 night in February 2013. We were looking for a cheaper alternative to those hotels up near the slopes in Faraya. We had our kids with us. We were 2 families and we took 4 rooms, 2 for each family. The kids had great fun together, the tv had only 1 channel for them, but it's ok they had their ipods. We were basically alone in the hotel, and it was fine and quite. The breakfast was prepared especially for us. Very limited but nice with eggs, cheeses, fava beans (Foul), coffee, tea and juice. We had lunch the next day in the restaurant facing the hotel. It was all a good experience at an affordable price.

Cheap and quite

We stayed at the San Giorgio Hotel in Faraya during the peak Valentine's 2011 weekend.  The hotel is a cheaper alternative to the pricy accommodations in Mzaar.  Here are a couple of things about our stay:
- Friendly staff
- Radiator heating not very efficient / Rooms are a bit cold
- Hard bed mattresses
- Breakfast is included in room rate with croissant, bread, cheese, cold cuts and beverages

Cheaper alternative in Faraya /  Mzaar

We stayed there for a weekend, its a nice hotel if you don't rise up your expectations. It's clean but old, breakfast is average and staff is there just to do the basic job. Anyway the region is nice and overall it was a not bad experience
