Yoga, Peaceful, and an Owner who is just so kind and welcoming. I stayed there a few times while I was journalist in Lebanon many years ago (so my visit date is older than TripAdvisor allows, but I wanted to recommend anyway). It was the perfect escape after long days, with such a serene environment. I always remember. I would go back and will when Lebanon comes again to my world. Stay here. It's beautiful. 

I highly recommend this charming and very unique place. There is nowhere like Beit el Nessim. This is the best place to stay in Tripoli and even in Lebanon for me. I felt like being at home. The charm of this place is unique. The breakfast is royal. Every detail is mindfully thought. I think it’s the most charming and loving house you can find.

Beit El Nessim is another great option in the El Mina neighborhood. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace from which to admire the surrounding area, and the space is thoughtfully decorated. The owner is a yoga instructor and will arrange lessons for an added fee. 

The hotel is a converted residence dating from the Ottoman period, and it has been carefully maintained by the owner, Nabil.  The hotel is located in the part of the city close to the ocean, but the rest of the city, including the wonderful fortress and amazing souks, are easily reached by taxi.  Nabil is possibly the nicest person in the city -- he was willing to answer my almost interminable questions, with patience and humor, and provided incredibly helpful directions regarding the souks and numerous madrassas and mosques that are located in the same area; he's very knowledgeable.  The breakfast in the hotel is wonderful, and Nabil was focused on making sure that those eating breakfast had what they wanted.  Overall, the hotel is wonderful, and Nabil is an ideal owner for travelers to work with.

That Place I Adored. 

Most charming place to stay in Tripoli

Wonderful Hotel and Owner

Beit El Nessim Hotel in Tripoli 

When we checked into the guest house we were shown rooms that were all over the accomodation. The rooms were not ready and we settled for one room for our parents. 
The owner at that time was friendly. When we came back late at night we were shown to our rooms and they didn’t have ac ( we had paid for ac rooms as this was in the middle of summer) - we called the owner and he came and set us up in one room instead of 2 - one of our kids on a mattress that was almost like a picnic mat. 
 The owner said his daughter was sleeping in the room booked for us so we can have it tomorrow and if we didn’t like it we could leave right at that point in the night. Very arrogant for a yoga teacher. 

Mr Yoga teacher also wanted to discuss the charges at that time in the night ! He even argued that it’s him who decided how much we have to pay and not the company we had booked through. We ended up having to pay for sleeping on the mattress. The owner had no remorse for his actions the next morning. Not going to recommend to anyone .
