Looks like it was a fire in the hotel some time ago and rooms were hardly renovated. Smell of smoke everywhere, need to sleep with open windows. 
No one was present in the hotel, need to call for receptionist and wait some 15 minutes. After a lady came to the house, she told, she was not informed about the guests.
TV was not working, but the room was clean and comfortable. 
There are not a lot of places to stay in the area, so this explains attitude and hospitality style.

Smell of smoke, abandoned hotel

I came here because i needet to visit one small village nearby.This was the nearest accomodation from there so it was logic me to book this one.

The first thing which i thought makes my day more difficult is that the check in time is at 15pm.Offcourse it's propably possible to change if requested in advance by email example so that's not yet a minus.
But that is that even i had booked my stay in advance on internet there was nobody to let me in at 15pm.It wasn't nice cause i had waited outside for that 1 hour or more to get my luggages there and go for my goings.Then i had to call them to give a gentle reminder that i'm here.Things went easily on the phone, i was answered quickly by a man who speaked fluently english.He sounded lil bit supprised that i'm there but said that he will came ASAP to let me in.

After 10 minutes waiting a lady who did't speak any english at all, came and guided me with hand signals to follow her to the room where i was going to stay.It was nice that somebody came to bring me a key but this does't actually stand for taking good care of customers.I was not able to ask information from the lady.She propably speaks only Latvija and Russia so beaware that if you are going to stay here.Clarify everything what you need to know with email before you are coming here.Because here you are not able to have any service or information about anything.I barely got an WI-fi code.Wi-fi didn't worked properly afterall.It worked outside of the room but not in the room.

They show nice pictures from a sauna and a pool but the sauna and pool area was closed when i was there.So if you want to have a sauna and pool here, you definelthy had to request it befoure you are coming.Everything was closed in this place. No restaurant, no pub. But nearby was a gas station which had a store, so that was nice.So i could say this place is on a good location.Hehhheh.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT was the rooms.First place where i was given a key (one of those dorms) seemed to be totally crashed, door was broken.So we changed it to another.The other place was good untill i noticed on the evening that only lights which was working there was on the toilet. The light button which controls lights to bedroom  was totally destroyed and not possible to use.Maybe it can be even dangerous there, who knows.It's good that i didn't get a electric shock when i tried to get the light button working.

After all this and trip to a small city called Seda nearby on day time it was nice to spend sometime on the hostels inneryeard on the evening.There are several tables and benches around and a fireplace.So that's a nice plus.

I payed 14 euros for one bed in a room so i think this is not a cheap place either, when you think that two hours in a bus and you are in Riga where you get a night for 10 euros or less.
