I come to Malida more or less every time I go to Luang Prabang, whether it is for business or for pleasure it is always my choice. Friendly and service minded owners are excellent. Rooms are very nice and newly renovated. Comfort is more like a hotel than a guesthouse. Everything is unusually neat and clean at Malida! Simple breakfast is included, but if one wants something else, many options are available a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Close to the absolute center and quiet at night, I recommend the Malida to anyone who do not want to pay top dollars for accommodation but still enjoys some standard.
