Located in the Jebel al-Weibdeh area of Amman it is walking distance from numerous small restaurants, cafes and sheesha bars; in a bucolic upper middle class neighborhood that has churches and is close to historic sites. You can’t beat this location in centrality and charm. Near Paris Square and the citadel the dusk is full of church bells and the call to prayer. The guest house is next to the Italian embassy and run by an Italian who is an expert on economics and other issues. It feels like a home away from home. The rooms are well appointed and modern, and the upstairs has a common room where breakfast is served (ask for poached eggs and bacon); there is also a roof with a view and sitting area. The place has no sign so you’ll have to just trust Google maps, it has a green door. Ring the bell. The staff is friendly and the owner is super helpful.
