This is the first stop of our journey and our second stay at The Square Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai, after our last visit in 2023. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a room very similar to the one we had before—complete with the same stunning view of Yokohama Bay that we fell in love with. We’re staying here for two nights and were assigned a room on Level 17, just one floor below the highest guest rooms on Level 18. The view from up here is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. Just like before, the room is spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom is equally spacious, with a clean and modern feel that adds to the overall comfort of the stay. The bathtub is a nice bonus too—an international standard size, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. However, one small downside is that the hotel only provided one pillow per person, which wasn’t quite enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. It would’ve been nice to have an extra pillow or two for added comfort. Still, it’s reassuring to know that our positive memories from our previous stay weren’t just a one-off—The Square Hotel consistently delivers the same high-quality experience. We're glad we chose to return!
