Firstly, you get what you pay for. This a rather inexpensive onsen hotel thus don’t expect too much. I consider it very good value for money. Yes, it is quite old, but the owners take good care and are very friendly. The rooms are of good size and clean. The onsen is super hot！I could hardly take it. They also have a “public bath” outside for which one needs a separate key. I also had the breakfast, for about 750 yen. It was also good value for money. As so many other people before, the owner also for free drove me up to the monkey park, otherwise this would have been more complicated.
