This is my very first time staying in a Mets hotel as I usually stay in higher-grade hotels. This time, I was solo so I decided to stay at the Akihabara property. I booked a 22m2 queen room with a balcony and it was big enough and the balcony gave an open feeling. It’s a new hotel wth modern rooms. The bathroom has a separate wash area which is nice. The toilet is not next to the bathtub which is important to me. There are so many amenities in the lobby for you including bath salts and facial beauty masks. Fabulous. The location is perfect, right next to the South Exit of the Electric Town of Akihabara Station where you can access several JR lines, the Tsukuba Express, and the Hibiya Line. It cannot get much more convenient for getting around Tokyo. Millions of shops and restaurants at your doorstep. This is a hidden gem. While not a luxury hotel, everything is adequate and the price is right. The only downside is that there are only 2 elevators and it takes a while to go in/out of the hotel.
