Capsule Inn Sapporo - Caters to men

PROS: Cheap(got it for like 30 USD per night right during the Sapporo winter festival when hotel room rates in Sapporo rocket to like 400 percent), Right in the middle of downtown Sapporo lots of restaurants shops , shopping and right beside a subway station(location, location, location). Excellent customer service by the hotel staff quite friendly. Lots of amenities, towels(lots of them and you are going to need them), shampoo, toothbrushes, combs, all clean and free. Laundry machines, lots of vending machines for food and drinks. two excellent rest areas a good 7th floor rest area with leather couches very comfortable, tv, smoking area, and lots of mangas to read(inJapanese). Has a good sized onsen pool hot and nice for the cold sapporo winters. Showers in the shared bathing areas have strong water pressures and nice. Wifi is excellent in the hotel. Also hotel gives free breakfast vouchers for restaurants in the area. as for the capsules, I actually had a good time sleeping(my neighbors all cooperated and quiet), the mattress was OK, tv while old worked, actually had a porn channel which I found hilarious(for free)(I think there is a public XXX porn channel in Sapporo). CONS: well the hotel was clean, the floors were excellent and clean but the bathroom bathing area could be cleaner. the bathing area was not aging well and there are signs of rust in the walls. However the building is cleaned everyday from 10 AM to 2 PM and they do a good job. The onsen was also clean but could be cleaned better. The capsule hotel was easy to find for me but for others they could get lost since the hotel is in a side street with a small entrance which it shares with a restaurant, CONCLUSION: Loved my stay in this hotel, combination of cheap price , great service, and a good onsen. Will use it agaiin if I ever come back to sapporo.
