Our stay at Myoko / Red Warehouse was delightful, thanks to the exceptional hospitality. We came back to leave a five-star review.

On a personal note, we deeply appreciated how welcoming the team were, especially to the kids, making them feel right at home. The people staying were all friendly too, creating an inclusive and happy atmosphere.

The rooms were impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Having the convenience to wash and dry our clothes was a plus, and the onsen added a special touch to our experience.

Thank you again for a wonderful stay, and we hope to return soon!

This was our 3rd time staying at Red Warehouse and we will always stay there! We love the many ski runs right at our doorstep and also explored many more runs just a short shuttle away. Easy access to lifts and we could ski home nearly to our doorstep! At the end of our day, we relaxed in Red Warehouse's own private Onsen and each morning we started with breakfast that was included with our stay. We also used the  well equipped share kitchen to cook meals (and Red Warehouse's shuttle runs to the Supermarket were super convenient). We could also book a pick-up and drop-off to & from the local Train Station for a small fee which made things really easy. We also dined at many of the fantastic local Japanese Restaurants & Bars (that were just a 5 minute walk from the Lodge) and there were also places close where we  hired our ski & snowboard gear and booked lessons & kids ski school as well. Red Warehouse is an English speaking Lodge with incredible runs right at its doorstep, in a traditional Japanese environment for the whole family to enjoy! Our second family visit to Red warehouse saw us looked after so well by Misty, Tom, Harry and Hannah. Their hard work meant nothing was too much trouble. They ensured the place was always clean and welcoming. Great place to stay made even better by the awesome staff that looked after us so well. Thanks!

Clean, spacious, family friendly lodge in Myoko Akakura Onsen. Run by very friendly and professional Australians so language is never a problem. Place is well kept and clean. Onsite private onsen to soak away sore muscles after a hard day of riding /skiing. Simple breakfast provided daily consisting of a range of cereals, bread, spreads and yoghurt. They offer supermarket runs and pickup from the Myoko Kogen train station. Excellent location within the village, short walk to everything on offer. Highly recommended.

Our family of four (two adults and two boys aged 10 and 13) loved our stay at the Red Warehouse. People were asking us about our trip for skiing in Japan and we will be recommending that they stay here for sure! Everyone is friendly and made us  feel welcome from the moment we were picked up at the train station to the must appreciated ride to a nearby location at the end of our stay there. Breakfast is simple and plentiful, all we needed to get going for the day. Loved also the lift to the grocery store so we could shop to make a few of our dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. The drying room is well laid out and the location perfect for walking to the fields, lifts, ski hire, shops and restaurants. The onsen is available for private use, meaning we could use it as a family for a soak at the end of the day. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) as well as space to store food supplies are also available.

We had a great stay at Red Warehouse. Tom, Misty and the team provided a warm welcome and good local knowledge. The accommodation is very well located and set up. The addition of the private onsen was a real treat after a day out on the mountain.

Would definitely recommend.

Also loved the communal kitchen, dining and lounge area and the private Onsen was such an amazing added bonus!!! Such a wonderful family friendly lodge with excellent hospitality. Located in the heart of town and right next to the mountain this is the perfect place to stay with a family. Mami is an excellent host who went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. All the facilities were great and felt extremely homely. We loved our stay! 

Great location, clean and warm room and all the staff were very helpful. Short walk to shuttle buses to get to the other resorts and hills in the area, two of the ski fields can be accessed fro the acc. The eateries on main streetare also very close.

Excellent family friendly lodge

We LOVED our stay at Red Warehouse!! Marmi and Nick and all the staff were so helpful with local advice and assistance. We have some food allergy issues with our boys, and being able to use the kitchen and prepare food from them really made our trip possible and safe for our boys. They really helped us to feel comfortable. Loved the private onsen and the shared living dining area where we could chat to other guests, get tips, and make plans to explore the slopes. Would definitely go again!!

Fantastic family venue

After 10 days there, Nic, Mami and the team (Paul, Tom, Misty and Natalie) became such good friends. Even though we like hundreds of guests just pass through the doors every week and are long forgotten, we will remember that those 10 days we had was such a wonderful experience. It is truly a communal ski lodge ((Australian-managed and staffed) and with access to private onsen, large kitchen, common room with fireplace and books and kids games room, it is a great base for exploring the ski fields of Myoko Kogen. They also have a daily supermarket run in the afternoons so you can stock up on food, snacks and essentials for your stay. You don't have to socialise in the common room or with the hosts if you don't want to, but then again with such friendly hosts with so much knowledge of the area it is impossible to avoid them! If we ever get the chance to return we will!
