34 reviewsMy family (husband, parents & my 3 month old baby) stayed here whilst visiting Kyoto during the Rugby World Cup & it was perfect for our needs for a home away from home with a small baby. The apartments are very well equipped & include a washing machine & tumble dryer (very handy whilst travelling with a baby) plus kitchen equipped with hob, microwave, toaster & fridge. However what makes this place stand out is the excellent hospitality - there is a whole array of food stuffs (milk, juice, bread, butter, jam, instant noodles etc) for guests to help themselves to & on the fifth floor one of the rooms includes a beer fridge & massage chair also for the guests to use free of charge! The staff couldn’t be more helpful & one evening the owner hosted a dinner for the guests to enjoy - it was wonderful to experience a home cooked Japanese meal. The apartments are located in a residential area of Kyoto rather than in the city centre but there are good bus links & a train station close by which makes getting around town easy. A great base to explore Kyoto for families looking for a more flexible accommodation option.
