This was my sixth stay at the New Hiroden. It is a centrally located, basic tourist hotel a 3-minute walk from Hiroshima station. I love the welcome I get here each time I return. There is a restaurant and a bar, although the bar has a habit of closing unexpectedly for private parties. The breakfast was filling and the staff are very friendly. Be warned: the rooms (not all, but most of them) and the bathrooms, are miniscule. So if you are of larger stature and/or travel with suitcases the size of small houses, you will have to reassess this hotel's suitability. For me, this hotel is great value and I always look forward to my next visit.
