Lesley was fantastic from the beginning!! Very communicative as we were travelling from England and unsure about lots of things!! Lesley picked us up from Hakuba bus stop (after getting the bus from Nagano) in a minivan and gave us a swift tour of Hakuba Goryu and drove us back to the lodge where we had another tour of the lodge. Lesley very kindly ferried us between The Bear’s Den and the resorts that we chose to ski in! She recommended restaurants in the area and even took us to the SUSHI TRAIN 🚄 🍱 which was really great fun! Lesley is an extremely nice person and fantastic host you should definitely stay here! It’s perfect for families or larger groups who would like to be together in one place. There is a lovely breakfast room and bar area with a terrace and a seperate TV room for relaxing/ reading/ yoga. The location is amazing, you could walk to Escal Plaza from The Bear’s (if you didn’t want a lift,) and ski back through a beautiful forest route. Lesley also sets you up for the day with amazing breakfasts - THANKS FOR THE PANKAKES LESLEY! Lesley made our trip to Hakuba a very memorable experience and we would love to visit again.
